The Tribunal for Putin (T4P) global initiative was set up in response to the all-out war launched by Russia against Ukraine in February 2022.

Slovyansk hostages now freed

LB.ua has posted a list of hostages thankfully now free after the Kremlin-backed militants who had been controlling Slovyansk fled on July 5.  At present only 6 people are known to have been released.

These are:

theatre director Pavlo Yurov and art manager Denis Hryshchuk who were taken hostage on April 25  (more details here);

journalist Irma Krat  (details here)

student Ihor Oprya, held hostage since mid-April;

two drivers taking humanitarian aid to the city;

Nelya Shtepa, mayor of Slovyansk is also understood to have been released

The fate of others held hostage remains unknown.
