Important step forward as the Single Register of Court Rulings begins functioning

The procedure for keeping a Single State Register of Court Rulings was approved by Resolution No. 740 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 25 May 2006. From now on, all copies of court rulings, with the exception of those declared state secrets, will be sent by the person officially responsible for this in each court to the Single State Register by ordinary or electronic post, no later than 15 calendar days after the passing of a court ruling. The time scale for adding the text of a court ruling to the Register is three or 15 days. The Register will be held by the State Court Administration of Ukraine. Access to court rulings is free of charge.
