Training website for Media workers launched

The Independent Association of Television and Radio Broadcasters (NAM) has launched a project entitled “Distance Learning for the Media” on a specially created website (http://onlinemediatraining.net/ ) The courses are aimed at television and radio journalists, editors, media lawyers, and others working in related fields, including advertising and marketing.
The first course has already been placed on the site: “Information broadcasts during the elections – zone of special responsibility”.
NAM Executive Director Kateryna Myasnykova explains: “We analyzed the media’s work during the elections and created the course so that it addresses the main issue – how to protect yourself and your media outlet against mistakes when covering the elections. The course will be relevant for media workers since we have at least the local elections ahead of us.”
The courses for media representatives are free with the project being carried out with the support of the Fund for the Development of the Ukrainian Media of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
