There had been vehement protest over the behaviour of the TEC which had formed the PEC without any openness, with the minimum number of members and virtually excluding representatives of a number of parties.

The Lviv Administrative Court of Appeal has revoked the decision of the Lviv Territorial Electoral Commission [TEC] on forming the makeup of precinct electoral commissions [PEC]. It orders the TEC to change the makeup of the commissions by increasing the number of members. All PEC had been filled with the minimum number of members.

The Court thus allowed the appeals from the Republican Christian Party, as well as the demands of the association “For Honest Elections” formed on the initiative of the parties whose members had not got onto the PEC.

As reported, there had been vehement protest over the behaviour of the TEC which had formed the PEC without any openness, with the minimum number of members and virtually excluding representatives of a number of parties.
