04.04.2011    source: www.korrespondent.net

On Saturday, 2 April, three men beat up a black passenger travelling between Khreschatyk and Arsenalna on the Kyiv metro. The incident is reported on his blog by an employee of the Yandex company, Slava Baransky. The latter was travelling in the next carriage and both saw and filmed the incident.

Slava Baransky reports that the thugs beat the black guy “for no reason”. They and their victim were detained by the police at Arsenalna Station. Slava Baransky contacted the police and handed over his video footage and also posted it on his blog.

The circumstances of the incident are being ascertained.
