Following the recent about face with the media prohibited from filming or taking photographs of the trial of the former Prime Minister and leader of the Batkivshchyna Party, Yulia Tymoshenko, police officers have been permitted to video and photograph.

This emerged when Judge Kireyev removed Deputy from the BYUT faction, Andriy Pavlovsky for the entire trial for what he considered infringements of order in the court. While he was being removed, a man in plain clothes began filming.

Asked by the Deputies who he was and who had allowed him to tape the proceedings, he said nothing but continued his activities. Judge Kireyev instead answered, saying that the court had previously taken the decision to allow such photographing and videoing of events in the courtroom.
