The Tribunal for Putin (T4P) global initiative was set up in response to the all-out war launched by Russia against Ukraine in February 2022.

Criminal case against Danylyshyn terminated

04.03.2013
The criminal investigation against Bohdan Danylyshyn, Economy Minister in Yulia Tymoshenko’s Government has been terminated, almost 2 years after he was granted political asylum in the Czech Republic

It was learned on Friday that the criminal case against Bohdan Danylyshyn, Economy Minister in Yulia Tymoshenko’s Government from 2007 to the beginning of 2010, was terminated back in December last year, with Interpol taking him off the official wanted list.

Danylyshyn applied for and was granted political asylum in the Czech Republic in January 2011.  He had been facing the same kind of charges as those against Tymoshenko, Lutsenko and others of abuse of official position.

According to the Batkivshchyna Party statement, the case against him has been terminated for lack of the components of a crime.

The ongoing imprisonment of former Prime Minister Tymoshenko and ex-Interior Minister Lutsenko, however, make the obvious question of why it was initiated in the first place somewhat rhetorical.

Batkivshchyna is demanded that heads roll over the initiating of the case.
