The funeral will take place on Thursday of 28-year-old Olha Bura who died on March 10 of wounds received when snipers gunned down protesters in late February

Two more defenders of Maidan have died of their injuries:  52-year-old Vasyl Aksenin and 28-year-old Olha Bura.

Vasyl Aksenin, from Chernivtsi, died in Poland on March 12.  He received a serious abdominal wound on February 20 during the gunning down of demonstrators in the centre of Kyiv and was taken for treatment to Poland at the end of February.

His wife Tetyana told a reporter earlier that her husband was on Maidan twice.  He was not in any political party and when he set off the second time he told her that he would not be standing under a flag, that he was going where people are needed.

The funeral will take place on Thursday of Olha Bura who died on March 10 of wounds received when snipers gunned down protesters in late February.  Olha had taken an active part in the EuroMaidan protests from November 24 last year.

She had been living with her mother in the village of Zhuratin in the Lviv oblast, but will be buried in the village of Ripne where she was born.
