Two medical students abducted by militants in Donetsk

Mykhailo Savytsky and Arten Sukhodolov were stopped by Kremlin-backed militants from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic near their hostel

According to the first deputy dean of the Donetsk National Medical University, Boris Ivnyev, the two students – Mykhailo Savytsky and Arten Sukhodolov – were stopped by militants from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, supposedly for breaching the curfew.

The students were seized near their hostel in the evening of June 23. Witnesses say that the young men were thrown to the ground, tied up and taken away. The terrorists said that they were being taken into the so-called ‘DPR army’ and that they would used to dig trenches.

TV Channel 5 also reports that the day before militants at one of their checkpoints near the Putilivsk Bridge in Donetsk shot at a car, killing a 34-year-old woman from Kramatorsk.
