Looking for double
The Central Election Commission is checking reports that people supposedly aged 107 and 122 have been included on the voter lists in the Kharkiv region. The Deputy Head of the CEC said that such reports had been received and that the information was being checked. He said that they were looking for possible doubles on the voter lists or people not having been included.
The main load with regard to checking voter lists at present lies is falling on district and local electoral commissions.
Mahepa stated that the CEC had no information about members of the district and local electoral commissions having received instructions from their political factions to not sign protocols if their opponents gained the majority of votes.
He also reported that the CEC has registered a further 493 official observers from other countries and international organizations. This brings to 1960 the number of international observers so far registered.
