The Tribunal for Putin (T4P) global initiative was set up in response to the all-out war launched by Russia against Ukraine in February 2022.

Ingushetia.Ru closed down by a Russian court

26.09.2008

The closure comes less than a month after the website’s owner Magomed Yevloev was killed after being taken for questioning by officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Lawyer Musa Pliev who is representing the interests of the website informed the radio station “Echo Moskvy” that the editorial office had received information from the Regional Centre for the Registration of Domains that the domain address had been withdrawn, “The grounds for supposedly the ruling of the Kuntsevsky Court on the website’s closure.” Mr Pliev says that the actions in removing the domain address are unlawful since the court ruling said nothing about cancelling the address, only about the activities of the site. Yet access to the website has already been blocked.

He added that an exact copy of the site had been placed by its editorial board at a new address: Ingushetia.Org  (http://ingushetia.org/) , and that it had been decided on principle to not change the editorial policy.

The Chief Editor of the website remains Rosa Malsagova who is now in Paris.
