The Kyiv Police Public Relations Service informs that the traffic police are drawing up protocols against 10 participants in the Tax Code protest car rally for infringement of parking regulations on European Square in Kyiv.

These administrative protocols will be sent to the court for a ruling in accordance with current legislation, the police add.

The same Service states that about 150 people took part in the small business owners’ protest in the centre of the capital.  The traffic police inform that protesters in 89 cars took place. 74 arrived from the regions bringing protesters.  They inform that the protesters dispersed around 14.00 and that there were no incidents.

UNIAN reports that there were around 500 protesters at the Car Rally in Protest around Ukraine.  The rally, as reported, began at the same time in the West and East of the country with cars setting out from Lviv and Luhansk under the banner “Take Ukraine away from the Oligarchs, return it to its citizens!”

They called for the Constitution to be defended, a stop to economic repression and social experiments dressed up as reform, and for conditions to be created for the development of private enterprise and the economy of Ukraine.
