Court bans tents outside penal colony where Yulia Tymoshenko is held

The Kharkiv Administrative Court has prohibited the Batkivshchyna Party from erecting campaign tents near the Kachanivska Penal Colony No. 54 where former Prime Minister and leader of the opposition party was transferred on 30 January.

The Kharkiv City Council applied for the ban yesterday, having suddenly decided that repair work needed to be carried out on the street where the penal institution is located.
