Cherkasy police attempt illegal search of opposition headquarters

 The police officers say that the search is aimed at identifying and removing money obtained by criminal means. They had no search warrant.

MP Andriy Shevchenko was in Cherkasy and responded swiftly. He managed to get into the party surgery and unblock the doors for the press.

He stated that this was the surgery of MP Tkach and asked whether the MP had been properly warned of the search.  It turned out that the police didn’t know they needed to give warning, which ended their “investigative activities”.  The report states that the MP is awaiting the arrival of the Cherkasy police management.
