AutoMaidan leader remanded in custody for 2 months


One of the leaders of AutoMaidan, Serhiy Khadzhynov was remanded in custody on Tuesday for 2 months. Khadzhynov was detained on Jan 27 in Cherkasy. 7 AutoMaidan cars which came to Cherkasy from Kyiv were also set upon.

Khadzhynov says that he himself went up to the Berkut officers to find out what was going on, He is adamant that he had nothing to do with the storming of the regional administration, but was on the other side of the road taking part in an AutoMaidan protest with the cars forming a chain.
