Anastasia Stanko and Illya Bezkorovainy are being held in one of the buildings seized by the Kremlin-backed terrorists who claim that they were ‘spying for the army’

The head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic, Valery Bolotov has stated that Hromadskie.tv journalist Anastasia [Nastya] Stanko and sound engineer Illya Bezkorovainy were ‘detained’ by the Kremlin-backed militants for what he alleged was “spying for the Ukrainian army”.

Stanko was able on Tuesday to make a telephone call in which she confirmed that the two were being held in the basement of one of the buildings in Luhansk under the control of the LPR militants.  She said that she was OK and that neither had been subjected to violent treatment.  Their phones have, however, been taken away from them.  She was able to say that the LPR terrorists suggest that they may be exchanged for other militants in custody.
