Lviv volunteers help restore homes in Kramatorsk
At the beginning of August a group of volunteers from Lviv arrived in Kramatorsk wanting with their own hands to help restore buildings damaged when flats in a many-storey apartment block in Stankostroy were hit by shells.
The volunteers are not professional builders, but civic activists and teachers however they decided that they could also help the people of Kramatorsk rebuild their lives The visit was organized by the Lviv Educational Foundation. The volunteers worked on replacing glass in windows, repairing metal-plastic doors, etc, and are planning to return to Kramatorsk in September.
