On Saturday the police carried out a raid on the office of the Belarusian National Front where a seminar was taking place on reforming the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Three Ukrainians: Oleh Martynenko, Vadim Pivovarov and Alla Blahaya were detained, together with Russian national Olha Salomatova and three Belarusian nationals: Oleg Gulak, Aleksandr Sosnov and Ludmila Isakova.
Later in the afternoon it was reported that they had been released, but warned that they had been infringing Belarusian legislation on the holding of mass events.
The seminar is continuing. It is clearly needed ....
