Expert analysis of the Ukrainian draft law on information

In response to a request from the Ukrainian authorities, the Council of Europe has provided comments on the proposed amendments to the Law on Information.
Within the framework of the Joint Programme between the Council of Europe and the European Commission "Promoting the democratic process in Ukraine and South Caucasus States", the Council of Europe will be holding a round table in Kyiv on 28 March 2007 on the revision of this law involving the Ukrainian authorities together with local and Council of Europe experts.
