Andriy Matrosov, journalist, human rights activist and producer of the Human Rights Documentary Film Festival “Docudays.ua” died yesterday in a car accident

Andriy Matrosov, journalist and human rights activist, died yesterday in a car accident.  He was driving a car owned by the Kherson Regional Charity and Health Foundation at about 5 yesterday evening. The car went off the road and overturned several times. Andriy died at the scene.

Andriy Matrosov was 41. He was a journalist and photographer and worked for the Kherson newspaper “Vhoru”. 

He was also known to people throughout the country and abroad through his role as producer of the Human Rights Documentary Film Festival “Docudays.ua”.
