Mr Ivamovsky has told the police that on that day somebody phoned and suggested meeting supposedly in order that the stranger hand over some sensational documents which should be of interest. They agreed to meet on Moskovska St. When the journalist arrived, a young man came up to him, asked if he was Mr Ivamovsky. Having been told that he was, the young man without another word sprayed tear gas in his face and stabbed him several times.

The police inform that they have initiated a criminal investigation under “hooliganism” and are offering 30 thousand UAH reward for information.
