EuroMaidan SOS has confirmed that Roman Senyk died in hospital on Saturday of injuries received on Jan 22 on Hrushevsky St.
Roman Senyk was 45 and from the Lviv oblast. He was probably connected with the VO Svoboda party, one of whose MPs initially reported his death.
Ukrainska Pravda recalls that EuroMaidan SOS used social networks to ask for blood for the injured man whose lung had been pierced by a sniper’s bullet. He had also been on the shoulder and doctors had amputated his arm, with him losing 3.5 litres of blood. In 4 hours over 200 people in Kyiv had given blood.
