TRC Krym journalists boycott channel
Journalists from the Crimean Tatar information section of the state-owned TV channel Krym have announced that they will not go on air until after the so-called referendum n Sunday. The website 15minutes.org cites information from the channel’s editor and presenter Shevket Ganiyev on his Facebook page for the decision. He writes: “We don’t share the channel’s information policy at present and for this reason we are taking time-out under the referendum is over”
As reported, last week the channel’s building was surrounded by armed men in uniform but without identifying insignia.
