On Monday the Dzerzhynsky District Court in Kharkiv terminated proceedings against Halyna Pylypets and Roman Cheremsky over their participation in the protest against the controversial language law supposedly passed in parliament that day.  Judge Rudnyeva found no administrative offence.

On 4 July the police had accused them under Article 185-1 of the Code of Administrative Offences (infringing the rules for organizing and holding a meeting, procession, etc.

On Monday morning, 16 July, the examination began into an administrative charge against the co-organizer of the indefinite protest over the language bill, Dmytro Pylypets.
