Environmental help line launched

Lawyers from the organization “Environment – People – Law” will be providing legal consultations on environmental protection, defence of environmental rights and promotion of good environmental practice in Ukraine.
The environmental organization “Environment – People – Law” has started an environmental and legal telephone advice line. The help line, launched on 16 August, is being supported by the Open Society Institute and will provide legal consultations to both individuals and legal entities on environmental protection, defence of environmental rights and promotion of good environmental practice in Ukraine.
The help line will run indefinitely, and will not be restricted to any part of the country. As well as EPL lawyers, during the academic year, students of law from the Lviv Ivan Franko National University will be providing legal assistance.
Members of the public are invited to ring 298-5-888 from 10.00 to 14.00 on weekdays.
