Journalists from the Georgian TV channel Tabula who have been working in Kyiv have been ordered by the SBU [Security Service] to leave Ukraine. Dmitri Avaliani told Hromadskie.tv that three young men had arrived at the hotel Dnipro, saying they were from the SBU and migration service. They read out a decision signed by the deputy head of the SBU and dated Dec 10 which ordered the journalists to leave the country. It said that they would otherwise be deported.
Mykola Tomenko, head of the parliamentary committee on freedom of speech has contacted the SBU demanding to know on what basis the journalists have been told to leave Ukraine.
