Chilean Court issues arrest warrant for former dictator Augusto Pinochet

90-year-old Pinochet has been charged with the murder and abduction of people and use of torture in the secret prison “Villa Grimaldi” during the military dictatorship from 1973-1990. Pinochet had previously succeeded in escaping criminal prosecution because several courts declared him unable to stand trial due to bad health.
