The seven activists were arrested on Lubyanka Square [home to the FSB] where they had tried, with Geiger counters to measure the level of radiation and to find any traces of Polonium-210 which was used to poison Alexander Litvinenko in London
7 Members of the National Democratic Youth Union and of the movement “We” have been detained in Moscow.
The Leader of the Union Yulia Malysheva told Radio Svoboda that the seven activists had been arrested on Lubyanka Square [home to the FSB] where they had tried, with Geiger counters to measure the level of radiation and to find any traces of Polonium-210 which was used to poison former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko in London
Malysheva said that around 100 OMON [riot police] officers had taken part in the detention.
