Serhiy Bukovsky’s documentary film “The Living” has been awarded a special prize in the nomination “Best documentary film” at the Yerevan International Film Festival “The Golden Apricot”.
The 75- minute film which was seen in Kyiv at the Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays.UA is about Holodomor 1932-1933. Work on the film spanned 11 months, and its premier was on 21 November 2008.
The Yerevan Film Festival took place from 12 to 19 July. there were 104 films in the competition programme.
