Tymoshenko to ask specialists whether the Judge explained what she’s charged with

Yulia Tymoshenko’s defence lawyers have announced that they plan to turn to Ukrainian specialized institutes, as well as international legal institutions. They will be asking them to explain whether Judge Rodion Kireyev elucidated the essence of the charges against the former Prime Minister.

Mykola Siry told the press:

“Both the prosecution and Judge Kireyev insist and assert that he explained the charges and that it is we for some reason who have been incapable for so long of understanding simple and obvious things. This is effectively a stalemate in the discussion with each side maintaining their position, and we need to turn to objective criteria in order to understand nonetheless whether there actually was an explanation.”
