According to the Committee of Participants in the Orange Revolution, Kyiv traffic police officers on Monday morning arrested coaches carrying small business owners from Odessa who were trying to see Prime Minister Azarov.
The Committee says that the coaches were blocked by traffic police cars and forced into a parking bay. They assert that the traffic police gave no reason, making it clear only that they were not going to get any further.
The business people were planning to hold a protest outside the office of the Party of the Regions. The report says that they still hoped to get to the capital, but there is no information as to whether they did.
