Russian scientists and scientific journalists have signed an appeal in which they declare their strong protest against the military actions of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine.

Russian scientists and scientific journalists have signed an appeal in which they declare their strong protest against the military actions of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine.

"The responsibility for launching a new war in Europe lies entirely with Russia”, — states the appeal published on the site trv-science.ru.

The signatories of the appeal are convinced that Russia has doomed itself to international isolation and say that they “respect Ukrainian statehood, which is built on real functioning democratic institutions”.

“We demand an immediate cessation of all hostilities against Ukraine. We demand respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state. We demand peace for our countries”, concludes the letter, which was signed by more than 370 people.
