Another opposition activist convicted in Belarus

Kanstantsin Lukashov received a two year suspended sentence on a charge of “attacking a police officer”.

The incident referred to took place after the protests in Minsk in 2006 over the presidential elections, when police officers in civilian clothing were attempting to arrest Lukashov’s brother.
