In the Czech Republic Milada Horakovas prosecutor receives an eight-year sentence
86-year-old Ludmila Brozova Polednova was one of the State prosecutors who condemned the lawyer and democratic politician Milada Horakova to death in 1950 under the communist regime. Milada Horakova was the only women to be executed during the notorious political show trials of the 1950s. She was charged with conspiracy against the socialist regime in Czechoslovakia, as well as spying and sabotage.
