Ukraines Constitutional Court has found a number of provisions in the Law on the Presidential Elections passed by the Verkhovna Rada on 21 August 2009 to not be in keeping with the Constitution

Bribing voters to give their vote for a particular party carries criminal liability, and how that differs from a paid news item commissioned by some politician or other I cant fathom. Maybe the connection is not so direct, but the essence is the same
