Lutsenko to remain behind bars
The Court of Appeal has rejected the appeal by former Minister of Internal Affairs, Yury Lutsenko against the change in preventive measure from a signed undertaking not to abscond to remand in custody for two months.
The presiding judge, Oleksandr Bets stated that there were no grounds for revoking the first instance court’s ruling. Lutsenko therefore remains in the SIZO [remand unit].
