Luhansk editor and son hospitalized after being abducted by militants

Near midnight on Sunday men in camouflage and armed with machine guns burst into the home of V. Serdyukov, editor of the newspaper ‘Serditaya Gazeta’ [Angry Newspaper]. They forced him and his son into a car and took them to the regional administration building under the control of armed Kremlin-backed militants.
According to a spokesperson from the Luhansk Regional Police, they also stole property and two cars from both Serdyukov’s home and is office.
Both Serdyukov and his son were released at around 5 a.m. and are now in hospital.
Serditaya Gazeta is a local newspaper which has been critical of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic and Moscow’s actions.
