Not Cowered: Lviv EuroMaidan

Media reports estimate that up to 10 thousand people of all different ages came out onto Lviv EuroMaidan on Saturday, showing not only their support for European integration, but their refusal to be intimidated by the violent dispersal of the peaceful protest on Maidan Nezalezhnosti on Saturday morning.

On the other hand, nobody believes any assurances from the authorities now and there is obviously a fear that riot police will try to disperse the gathering in Lviv as well.  Zaxid.net reports that rally wardens are calling on women and children to leave the square overnight.

Huge rallies are planned for Sunday, Dec, 1
